Data protection & privacy
Participants are aware that personal data provided by them are stored and used by the EPP and project partners. By taking part, the Participant authorises the retention of their personal data in the organiser’s files.
Further data protection information is provided to participants via a leaflet, that can be downloaded here. By participating, you acknowledge the attention of this information.
Participants agree to the use of their e-mail address and the transmission of information. This use can be contradicted at any time.
Insults, racism and hate propaganda, pornography and obscenities, violence against individuals, institutions or companies as well as infringement of third party rights, in particular copyright, are prohibited in the submitted images.
The uploaded image may not be misused as advertising space. We reserve the right to delete comments and contributions that are not conducive to factual discussion or do not relate to the other contributions.
By submitting a photo, the participant assures to personally have photographed the, to own all rights of the photo without restrictions and not to violate personal rights. Where the photo contains third parties (persons or objects), the participant is responsible for ensuring that all necessary consent has been obtained. In this case, a written declaration of consent in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), especially article 7 GDPR, needs to be provided by the participant. Alternatively, persons or objects displayed in photos, must already be rendered unrecognizable by uploading the image by pixelation. In the event of any problems arising from the use of third party images, the participant will not seek support or compensation from the Organiser. The photo may not be blocked by agencies or publishers.
Anyone participating grants the EPP and the partner institutions of the SubNodes project the right to use the submitted photos free of charge in terms of time, location, circulation and media. This refers in particular to the publication for the purpose of exhibitions, the reporting in media (broadcasting, television, social media) and the publication of the submitted photos on Facebook for the purpose of voting.
The image rights are with the photographer. For the purposes of exhibition, marketing and reporting, the photos may be used by the EPP naming the author (name and region). This assignment of rights of use applies until revoked by the participant.
